Can't even believe how long it has been since I've updated this post! We have been through a lot since February when I last 
posted. Miss Emma is now almost 8 months old and has been through so much in her short life. In April she was diagnosed with a condition called craniosynostosis in which the soft spot on top of her head closed too early. 
To correct the condition they had to do surgery to remove a fairly large 
portion of her skull to allow her brain to grow. Her surgery was in May and she has been doing wonderfully since then. She started crawling at 6months and has already said her first word-dada. She is working on getting her first tooth in which has meant some sleepless nights for mom. Overall though 
she is the happiest baby ever. She wakes up with a smile on her face and is almost always smiling.

We've had some attitude issues since Emma got here and her surgery has caused her to have so much attention on her, but I am hoping that this will go away once Emma gets more independent. She started Pre-K this year and is loving it and doing so well. We will be going with her to her first field trip of the year to the local apple orchard and she is so excited!
